| Jiaxing Nanyang Polytechnic Institute (JNPI) is jointly funded by Shanghai Jiaotong University Education (Group) Co., Ltd., Jiaxing Education Development Investment Co., Ltd., etc. JNPI is a full-time higher vocational institute. “Nanyang”comes from the name “Nanyang College” at the beginning of the establishment of Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1896. JNPI is one of the first batch of "main cooperative units on integrating with Shanghai" in Jiaxing City, with distinctive characteristics of international education. JNPI is the pilot institute of ‘Life Skills Development’ program jointly implemented by UNICEF and the Ministry of Education, which is the only one in Zhejiang Province.
