IECer of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University participated in "Jiangsu tour for international students of universities in Yangtze River delta on the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China"

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Perceive the 70 years development of the Yangtze River delta region and promote the exchange of international students and further cooperation in education, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Shanghai education departments jointly organized "the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China international students of colleges and universities in Jiangsu province", in Nanjing, Jiangsu province from 15th to 17th , October. Appointed by the provincial education department, Zhejiang Gongshang University, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Zhejiang University of Technology and Zhejiang Chinese Medical University jointly selected 40 international students to participate in this activity. 10 postgraduate students from IEC were selected, among which one doctoral student and one master's student gave a keynote report on the academic forum activity of "Global Health" as representatives of Zhejiang province. On October 17, academic forum of "Global Health" was officially held in Nanjing modern Health city. Eight graduate students from Nanjing Medical University, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zhejiang Chinese Medical University and Anhui Medical University delivered speeches on "Global Health". David Kayembe Mwimi, a Ph.D Candidate of 2018 from ZCMU delivered a speech entitled "My Understanding about Global Health". On the basis of the combination of Chinese and western medicine, as well as the perspective of the overall concept of traditional Chinese medicine, he put forward views on the occurrence of diseases and tumor diagnosis and treatment, and suggest to solve Global Health problems from the perspective of overall concept. Jirapat Srisangworn, a master's student in 2019, is the winner of the "Huier" scholarship newly established by ZCMU this year. She made a speech entitled "From Acupuncture to Audiology-- My Medical Journey". As the first batch of international graduate students majoring in Audiology and language rehabilitation, she shared her study experience in China and her career path, and put forward a multi-dimensional perspective on Global Health. The student representatives who attended the meeting said that this activity was very meaningful; they felt the long history of China and gained friendship. |
