International Education College welcomed the new international students of 2019 autumn as Wang Ying, Acting Dean of IEC, helped the students wear the school badge of ZCMU in the opening ceremony of the new semester on 11^th September.

Wang Ying extended a warm welcome to the freshmen and gave a brief introduction to the history of ZCMU as well as IEC. She elaborated the school motto ---- “Seek the Origin at High Aspiration” and hoped that all the students would always harbor vision, mission, passion and intention on their way of becoming medical practitioners. She also highlighted the importance of learning Chinese that the endeavors in learning this language shall be rewarding in their pursuit of medicine.

Ms. Liu Shan, a representative of faculty, hoped that students should shape themselves to doctors with morality while pursuing their medical career in her welcome speech. Junaid Iqbal, a senior student, also shared tips of campus life with all the new students.
