ZFC was built in 1975 and is located in the famous historical and cultural city of Hangzhou, by the beautiful Qiantang River. In 2006, ZFC was identified as one of the first batch of "National Exemplary Higher Vocational College" construction units by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance, and passed the acceptance with excellent results in 2009. In 2017, ZFC was identified as Zhejiang Provincial Key Higher Vocational College. In 2019, ZFC was identified as "National High-quality Higher Vocational College" by the Ministry of Education, and was selected as one of the Top 50 Teaching Management and Top 50 Student Service of higher vocational colleges with the second place, ranked among the Top 50 Social Contribution for three consecutive years, and was identified as one of the construction units of the High-level Higher Vocational College and Professional Group with Chinese Features Development Project by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.We also invested in the construction of the project in the past two years, and achieved good results.The comprehensive strength and competitiveness of our college are in the top 1% of the country in all rankings. In the 2022 "Golden Apple Ranking, GAR" Chinese Higher Vocational College Competitiveness Ranking, ZFC ranked tenth among 1516 higher vocational colleges, and ranked second among Chinese finance and economics colleges. ZFC has 2 campuses in Xiasha Hangzhou City and Binhai New Area Shaoxing City, and 25 majors in seven schools, including the School of Financial Management, School of Investment & Insurance, School of Accounting, School of Business Administration, School of International Business, School of Information Technology, and School of Humanities and Arts. ZFC has established cooperative relations with more than 50 universities and scientific research institutions in more than 20 countries and regions such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, etc(et cetera). ZFC currently has more than 12,000 students, including 455 undergraduates and 29 international students. We have 625 faculty members, including 63 professors and 49 teachers with doctoral degrees. In the past 47 years, ZFC has cultivated a large number of senior managers and entrepreneurial elites in financial sector, including about 5,000 presidents and managers at all levels, and is known as the "cradle of the bankers" .
