Ningbo University of Finance&Economics, a private university invested by Ningbo Dahongying Education Group, was founded in 2001, and upgraded as an undergraduate university in 2008 with more than 1,000 teachers and around 20,000 students currently. Based in Ningbo, a time-honored port city, it has two campuses, located in Yinzhou District and Hangzhou Bay Zone respectively, the latter situated at the southern end of the Hangzhou Cable Bridge. With an area of 115.89 hectares and a total construction area of 540,000 m2。 With application-oriented undergraduate education as our mission, we make efforts to create a university that serves Zhejiang Province and Yangtze River Delta, and has a nationwide influence; we strive to have a balanced discipline development among science, economics, management, humanities and arts so that we can nurture talents specialized in information technology, manufacture, service and culture industries; we devote to providing high-quality technology and management professionals for small and medium-sized enterprises; and we commit to developing the university into a first-rate teaching-oriented university with exemplifying value and distinctive characteristics in China.
