In order to maintain and deepen the academic and cultural exchanges of Traditional Chinese Medicine with overseas colleges and peers, the International Education College (IEC) launched the "Online Traditional Chinese Medicine" education project in the spring of 2021; try to explore the potential of online teaching and communication of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In early May, the IEC and the Indonesia Traditional Health Association agreed to jointly hold a series of lectures on Traditional Chinese Medicine. After several times communication and investigations, the two sides agree to take the “Traditional & Holistic Approach for Beauty” as the series title of the lecture, language in English, selected the experienced teachers Lv Guoguang (the International Education College external lecturer). Two sessions were launched in the first phase, with 392 students from Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia participating in the study. Supplemented by on-site demonstration, the lecture was showing acupuncture techniques and clinical acupoint selection, which stimulated the students' curiosity and won unanimous praise. Henry Remanlaysaid: "The effect of acupuncture on skin diseases is really interesting; I hope that one day I can come to China to view this magical technology."

Based on the Chinese medicine characteristic advantages of ZCMU, This "Online Chinese medicine" academic exchange project is showing the charm of Chinese medicine to Southeast Asian, spreading the culture and knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In the future, the International Education College will continue to carry out project cooperation with Indonesia Traditional Medicine Association and relevant overseas Chinese medicine colleges and peers to continuously promote the Culture of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
