IEC Holds Upgrading Ceremony For Pre-Med Students Of 2018 Spring Batch

On March 14, International Education College held the Upgrading Ceremony for pre-med students of 2018 spring batch as well as the Awarding Ceremony for the 11th Clinical Skill Contest. IEC staffs, Dr. Man Xin from the 3rd College of Clinical Medicine, students from 2018 spring batch and 2019 spring batch as well as the awardees of the contest were present at the ceremony. Upgrading certificates presented by Wang Ying, Deputy Dean of IEC, and the solemnly sworn medical oath signified the official start of the bachelor’s degree program for clinical medicine. Kaushik Vishwakarma from pre-med 2018 spring batch and Raphael Mumpanshya from Grade 2017 both shared experiences of their life and study in China.

Afterwards, awarding ceremony for the 11th Clinical Skills contest was held. The contest is a university level annual competition held by the 2nd College of Clinical Medicine. It was the first time for the contest to have international contestants who won one 2nd prize and three 3rd prizes. Wang Ying presented award certificates to the awardees as well as the two coaches, congratulating them on the excellence. Dr. Man Xin made an encouraging speech, expecting greater endeavors from students on their way of pursuing medicine.

    In the end, Wang Ying delivered a speech, hoping that responsibilities, faith and motivation should always be in the heart of medical students.
