On July 4, International Education College held the 2018 B&RTCM (Belt and Road Traditional Chinese Medicine) Scholarship Program interview.

23 candidates from 6 countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Vietnam, Hungary and Mongolia took part in the interview via skype.

China has launched its signature “Belt and Road Initiative” to drive economic cooperation, facilitate trade, and develop infrastructure throughout Asia, Africa, and Europe. The projects made possible through the Initiative bring together different cultures, languages and legal contexts. Zhejiang Chinese Medical University launched its BRTCM scholarship program in 2018, which covers the tuition for the whole program. The University hopes to promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine around the world and enhance the cooperation between the countries alongside the “new silk road” through this program.
