About Quzhou University
Quzhou University (QZU), an application-oriented public university while comprehensive in scope, maintains a strong emphasis on engineering disciplines.
Founded in 1985, QZU was authorized as a bachelor’s degree awarding institute in 2014. In 2015, QZU was approved to be a model university for application-oriented universities of Zhejiang Province.
QZU consists of seven colleges and offers 30 undergraduate programs, covering seven disciplines including engineering, literature, science, education, art, management, and economics.
At present, QZU has about 9,300 full-time students on campus and a faculty and staff of 771 individuals.
QZU has established collaborative partnerships with colleges and universities throughout the world including the US, Germany, Italy, ROK, Sweden, the UK, Malaysia, and Japan.
QZU adheres to the motto “Determination and Dedication” and aims to develop its application-oriented strengths as a university to fulfill its commitment to serving the city of Quzhou and Zhejiang Province.

Application Documents for International Students

2 | A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form | The form is issued by the Chinese quarantine authority. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the attending physician’s signature, the official stamp of the hospital, or a stamped photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take a physical examination, as the result is valid for only 6 months. |
3 | Non-criminal record report | The certificate of Non-Criminal Record should be issued by the local public security authority. It should be issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application. |
4 | A notarized highest academic diploma or certificate | Perspective diploma recipients must submit official proof of student status in their current school. |
5 | Academic transcript | Copies of academic records from the first to the last semester during the undergraduate, master’s (if any), and doctoral programs (if any). These trans shall be issued and sealed by the attended school or university’s academic affairs office, graduate school, or student management department. They can be in Chinese or English and should be attached with notarized English translations if they are in foreign languages other than English. |
