The major Literature of Theatre, Film & Television, which provided by College of Creative Culture and Communication in Zhejiang Normal University, is one of the province-level characteristic specialties in Zhejiang. The qualified candidates will be enrolled with 4-year schooling system and will be granted as Bachelor of Art when graduate.

    There are three main characteristics for the major Literature of Theatre, Film & Television. First, basing on module education pattern named “Dual Theoretical Foundations, Dual Practical Abilities”, our curriculum weighs theory and practice equally. In theoretical education section, the humanistic literacy courses give students solid cultural foundation and humanistic connotation, and the theory of film and TV courses equip students with basic professional knowledge. In practical education section, creating training courses strengthen students’ core skills in film and TV creating, and producing training courses broaden students’ application skills.

    Second, our practical teaching system is highly multi-platform and multi-dimensional featured. Concerning the needs of both film and TV faculty and its correspondent industry, we develop student’s professional creating abilities through integrating in-class teaching and skill training, constructing professional laboratories, holding In-campus cultural activities and enhancing professional working platforms.

    Finally, the communication between students and teachers which brings progress to the both sides is highly inspired. According to our major’s characters of fashion, vigor and creation, our teachers will help students finish tasks in teaching and learning, creating and researching in different learning phases. In this way, we can make students and teachers’ participation significant, knowledge exchange available, activity operation mutual, meanwhile; make teachers and students' learning community realizable.
